So what exactly does a Liger Project Manager do?

 

At a high level, a Liger Project Manager specializes in the planning, management, and execution of marketing campaign projects and usually works with account managers to identify the skills and resources necessary to complete projects on time and within the defined scope of work. At a granular level, a Liger Project Manager is expected to excel at the following...

Relationship Management

  • Possess strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrate expertise in what we refer to as personality management or the ability to work with a variety of internal teams and outside contractors seamlessly and manage the common goal of achieving successful project implementation and completion
  • Proactively communicate any potential issues, clarify doubts, and make sure that everyone is on the same page regarding all assigned projects
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with external vendors

Delivery

  • Working with the account manager to create a strategic marketing strategy and mapping out the tasks needed to implement that strategy
  • Adding and assigning tasks in Teamwork as well as ensuring that those task statuses are properly documented both in Teamwork and on the project status document reviewed during the weekly PM/Creative status meeting
  • Create project timelines and provide those to the account manager and creative teams
  • Ensure adherence to the project timelines and communicate any changes as appropriate to the necessary teams
  • Maintain a working knowledge of assigned client’s SOW and work with the account manager to ensure that all staff adhere to it
  • Manage potential project risk and immediately communicate any issues to the appropriate teams
  • Secure internal approval of creative assets and deliver them to the account manager to send to clients for approval
  • Ensure that all final assets are placed in the designated client folders
